The ALO of Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ, serves, along with the institution's CEO, as the institution’s primary point of contact. In general, the ALO helps ensure a strong relationship between the Commission and the institution and supports the institution in its accreditation activities.

Communication with WSCUC

The CEO is the official representative of the institution. The CEO and the ALO are the primary points of contact; the ALO’s role in fostering communication within the institution and with WSCUC is critical. The ALO is copied on all WSCUC correspondence with the CEO and is in regular communication with the WSCUC staff, including the staff liaison who provides guidance and support with accreditation.

  WSCUC Substantive Change Manual

A substantive change is a change to an institution’s mission, educational programs, scope, control, or organizational structure that needs to be reported to and approved by WSCUC in advance of implementation. The standard of review for substantive changes is whether a substantive change would adversely affect the institution’s capacity to meet WSCUC Standards of Accreditation.

How many Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ locations are accredited? Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ currently has  accredited locations.

What happened to the IEEIs? The IEEIs are no longer required by WSCUC, as the Commission is now using public data to examine Key Indicators (KIs). Archived versions of the IEEIs are available upon request.

When was Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ first accredited? Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ received its first accreditation in 1949.

What is the SOO? In September 2024 WSCUC introduced Student Outcomes Overview (SOO) dashboard that highlights key outcomes metrics – both completion rates and newer post-graduation debt and earnings – alongside peer and national benchmarks. This sleek version of key metrics is a companion to the Key Indicators Dashboard (KID) and is designed to help all institutions easily view and use these valuable measures to understand their performance in context and promote effective results. Many institutions are actively using the SOO and other information to develop data-informed strategies across many dimensions of their activities to enhance student outcomes and align with CFR 2.11 and other .
